In Unit 18 we have studied FIRST CONDITIONAL. These are some of the rules we should know to use it properly:

        If + present simple, future simple

  

If you understand them, you will succeed in your test (with comma)

which is the same that:

 You will succeed in your test if you understand them (without comma)
